Facebook video-chat application Rounds rolled out its social matching algorithm today, which allows users to connect with friends of friends or other Rounds users with common interests.
Rounds (said users can now hold interactive chat sessions with friends of friends, including secure video chats, games, and content sharing.
The app’s “meet new people” feature also pairs up users based on conversation topics, mutual likes, interests, and other data mined from the Facebook social graph.
Rounds said its advanced matching algorithm drills into users’ likes, history, social graph, location, and other demographics, identifying and categorizing users each time they customize their accounts.
