The Federal Trade Commission is pressing Google to make an offer to curtail its allegedly anti-competitive practices by the end of the week or face a lawsuit, Bloomberg reports.

The FTC has long been mulling an antitrust case against Google since the middle of 2011.

The commission and the company have been in conversations with the agency for about two weeks, but Google hasn’t proposed any remedies, Bloomberg reports.

“We continue to work cooperatively with the Federal Trade Commission and are happy to answer any questions they may have,” a Google spokesperson told SocialTimes.
