Real World Examples Of Android Fragmentation

We have made references several times on this blog to fragmentation of the Android operating system. When we refer to fragmentation of Android we mean the significant amount of variation between different phones that are running Android. In general fragmentation is bad because it is confusing for users, particularly when they read about a feature of Android an a blog like ours only to find that features is not on their phone.
