Raytheon Celebrates National Engineers Week With Facebook Contest

As a salute to National Engineers Week (Feb. 17 to 23), Raytheon launched a Facebook campaign to bring engineering into the everyday lives of K-12 students. Through Build It Better, students can earn money for their classrooms by using the application on Raytheon's MathMovesU Facebook page to engineer a better flow for an aspect of their school.

Through Build It Better, students can earn money for their classrooms by using the application on Raytheon’s MathMovesU Facebook page to engineer a better flow for an aspect of their school.

Middle-school students are encouraged to shoot and submit videos showing how they have engineered changes for the better in their schools — whether it’s the lunch lines, desk configuration, the playground, or anything else on campus.

The first-place winner will receive $2,000 for their school, second $1,000, and third $500.
