RateMyProfessors.com, Chegg.com: Why Buy Textbooks?
RateMyProfessors.com teamed up with Chegg.com on a service aimed at helping college students to save money: The two companies will allow students to rent textbooks directly through RateMyProfessors.com, offering access to more than 2.4 million college textbooks to students at more than 6,400 colleges and universities in the United States.
The Chegg.com search, order and return functionality will be built directly into RateMyProfessors.com’s site, allowing students to search for textbooks by ISBN number, author, title or keyword and receive responses including rental price, rental term, due date and detailed information about the book.
