Fans of match-three games on Facebook have a new option in Pudding Pop from cookapps. The game has rocketed to over 3.1 million monthly players in its short time on the platform, according to AppData, our tracking service for Facebook apps and developers. In each level of Pudding Pop, players click and drag their mouse pointer to remove large lines of pudding creatures from the screen.

Each level has different goals, and asks players to complete those goals within a limited number of moves. Activating a group of seven or more pudding creatures triggers the formation of a bonus square, capable of removing whole rows or columns from the board. Players earn up to three flowers on each level, depending on their score, and can replay stages to beat their friends’ scores or increase their own.

Early on, additional challenge is added to each stage via candies that must be collected, mold pieces that cover up certain squares and more. To counteract this, players can purchase power-ups, like extra moves for a stage, extra bonus pudding creatures and more.

Pudding Pop offers over 130 levels, and is updated frequently with new content. The game is now available to play for free on Facebook.
