Facebook’s data center in Prineville, Ore., will get a third building soon.

The social network announced in a post on its Prineville Data Center page that it will invest more than $200 million on the expansion in Prineville, adding that the facility currently has 147 employees, with 85 percent of those living in Crook County.

Facebook announced in July that its next data center would be located in Fort Worth, Texas, following its June announcement of a third building at its data center in Altoona, Iowa.

Director of data center operations, West region Ken Patchett said in the post:

Five years ago, Facebook broke ground on its first wholly owned data center in Prineville.
