PostUp Acquires Echofon, Expands Twitter App Suite
PostUp today announced its acquisition of Echofon, a suite of Twitter applications used by over 3 million people. These applications will be added to PostUp’s Twitter search application and Android application.
Echofon, developed by naanstudio, was one of the first Twitter applications to introduce real-time streaming capabilities to its Twitter desktop application. Along with its desktop application, Echofon also includes an iPad and iPhone Twitter application, and an Echofon for Facebook app is available for iPhone.
