Plink Partners With Tango Card, Adds Rewards Options Besides Facebook Credits

By David Cohen

Online-to-offline loyalty program Plink, which rewards its users with Facebook Credits, reached an agreement with digital gift card company Tango Card that will add several new rewards options for Plink users beginning next month.

Following the pact between Plink and Tango Card, Plink users will be able to add rewards from merchants including Amazon, The Gap, Home Depot, iTunes, Nike, and Target to Plink’s traditional offering of Facebook Credits.

Plink users earn rewards by eating at restaurant chains including Arby’s, Burger King, Dunkin’ Donuts, Quiznos, Red Robin, and Taco Bell.

Plink Co-Founder and President Peter Vogel said:

Our members have asked for more choices, and we’re excited to expand the innovative ways they can earn rewards for eating and shopping offline. Plink’s goal is to bridge the gap between online consumers and their offline purchases, and partnering with Tango Card makes that vision more rewarding for our current members and attractive to new ones.

Tango Card Founder and CEO David Leeds added:

Plink and Tango Card are rethinking how consumers want to earn and use rewards. Tango Card carefully curates digital rewards to deliver a complete program in a card. This approach allows Plink to focus on their core business: creating an innovative online-to-offline loyalty program. We are huge fans of what Plink is doing and are delighted that Plink selected our easy SDK (software development kit) to integrate the Tango Card.
