Pinterest Expands Buyable Pins

In the past three months, Pinterest has doubled the number of buyable pins, noting that there are more than 60 million buyable pins available.

Pinterest announced Monday that they’re expanding the buyable pins capability to more clients. Now customers of Bigcommerce, IBM Commerce and Magento will be able to use buyable pins in campaigns.

Pinterest is also rolling out buyable pins from Bloomingdale’s, Wayfair, DVF, Steven Alan and new merchants from launch partners Demandware and Shopify.

In the past three months, Pinterest has doubled the number of buyable pins, noting that there are more than 60 million buyable pins available.

A Shopify study of buyable pins showed that conversion rates doubled compared to other pins on mobile.
