Pew Survey: Online Video Viewing Continues to Rise

A new survey from the Pew Internet & American Life Project has some updated numbers on online video viewing habits.

The study, “The State of Online Video,” shows that 69% of adult internet users have watched or downloaded internet video, that is approximately 52% of all Americans.

The study also shows that since 2007, viewership of comedy videos online has risen from 31% of users to 50% of users. Movies or TV show views have doubled from 16% of users to 32%.
