The California Pizza Kitchen Facebook page was bombarded with fake coupons created by peta2, the youth division of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, which was protesting the dehorning of cows that used for milk by the restaurant chain’s suppliers.

PETA said CPK’s suppliers are burning the horns off cows with hot irons or caustic chemicals that eat away at their tissue, causing the animals pain.

The fake coupon is for “California Pizza Cruelty,” with the slogan, “Cheese from mutilated cows,” and it reads:

Eat at CPK, take 100 percent off.
