Periscope Testing Ability to Save Streams Permanently
Periscope said it plans to introduce more control for users who wish to keep their streams forever, as well as for users who may want their streams to quickly disappear.
Periscope is testing a new feature that allows users to save their live-streams permanently. Announced in a broadcast earlier this week, the feature has been introduced in response to user requests for a way to save streams for longer than 24 hours.
This addition comes after the closure of Katch earlier this month. Many Periscope broadcasters used Katch to save their streams permanently, since Periscope didn’t offer the feature itself.
