Is there such a thing as a perfect tweet?
I like to think so. Certainly, there are good tweets and there are bad tweets, and to really do well on Twitter you’ll want to be writing a lot more of the former than the latter.
So what makes a great tweet? Length is important – while Twitter gives you a maximum of 140 characters to play with, it’s a good habit to get used to writing tweets of 100 characters or less to give people plenty of room for old-fashioned retweets, which often come with comments.
Good grammar is always essential, as is providing a strong call-to-action (CTA) making it crystal clear what you would like your followers to do.
