Over 2 Million People Watched The Super Bowl Online…Did You?

Sunday’s game was the first ever Super Bowl webcast and the online turnout exceeded expectations. In the end, 2,105,441 users came out to watch the game, which NBC says was the most-watched, single game sports event of all time.

Sunday’s game was the first ever Super Bowl webcast and the online turnout exceeded expectations.  Back in December, when news got out that NBC would be streaming the big game, Joshua Cohen of Tubefilter crunched the numbers and estimated that anywhere between 1 and 1.5 million viewers would be streaming the game on their computers, smartphones and tablets.  In the end, 2,105,441 users came out to watch the game, which NBC says was the most-watched, single game sports event of all time.
