Ouch: NBA Fines Miami Heat Owner $500,000 For Tweeting About The Lockout

The NBA is very, very serious about their “no talking” rule during this season’s lockout.

Miami Heat owner Micky Arison was fined a massive $500,000 on Monday for using his Twitter account to discuss details of the lockout.

It only took the NBA the weekend to determine Arison’s fate. The owner had spent Friday tweeting about the lockout, a session which earned him a fine five time greater than any the NBA had previously given out during this lockout.
