A mobile-compatible website that is updated automatically whenever brands update their Facebook pages? Enter Otonomic, which launched last week, along with $1 million in backing from RDSeed, Zohar Gilon, Amit Gilon, and Tal Barnoach.
Otonomic allows Facebook page administrators to turn their pages into mobile-compatible websites with one click, and those sites automatically update when the respective pages are updated. The company said more than 20,000 businesses have used its beta platform to create sites.
Other features provided by Otonomic include:
- No need for any programming or HTML skills.
- Websites are immediately optimized for Web, mobile, and tablets.
- Clients can add online stores to their sites.
- Otonomic’s algorithms retrieve customer reviews and suggested content from pages in crafting the sites.
Otonomic offers three plans ranging from $4 to $30 per month.
Founder and CEO Omri Allouche said in a release announcing the launch:
We want to make the small business owner successful, in control, and empowered. By providing a website-building process that is tailored to the needs of small businesses, we can help them reach a higher level of online marketing and branding in a way that highlights their unique offering.
