How do you access your online content?  If you’re like the overwhelming majority of people you watch online videos and other content on your laptop, desktop, smart phone or tablet.  However, a new study reveals that more and more people are watching online content on their television sets.

NPD DisplaySearch reports, “18% of consumers surveyed in 14 regions are accessing online content daily on their TV sets.”  NPD DisplaySearch Research Director of Consumer Insights, Riddhi Patel, explains, “Online content is mostly viewed on computers or mobile devices such as tablets and smart phones, but TVs are increasingly becoming devices of choice for consumers, particularly since an increasing numbers of sets have either built-in connectivity or can be connected to the internet via a peripheral device such as a connected Blu-ray layer or set top box, among others.”
