Olsen Twin Hosts Facebook Shopping Event

Calling all shoppers: StyleMint, the social commerce brand launched by fashion mavens Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen in collaboration with BeachMint, will livestream a shopping event on its Facebook fan page tomorrow, April 20, at noon Eastern Time.

Throughout the two-hour program, hosted by WhoWhatWear’s editorial director and co-founder Hillary Kerr, viewers’ question will be answered by Mary-Kate, as she reveals her secret styling tips and explains the vision propelling the twins’ StyleMint venture.

The StyleMint application is set to showcase exclusive promos and, ooh-la, offer real-time, interactive shopping.

With a roster of fashion superstars partaking, including celebrity stylist Rachel Zoe, Revlon makeup artist Gucci Westman and Glamour Contributing Style Editor Tracey Lomrantz, each viewer with have a team of winsome fashionistas filling them in on what’s hot now and how to get the look, for free.

StyleMint, an online fashion label that launched on last July, offers exclusive monthly collections of limited-edition tee shirts, costing $30 each, to paying members, alhough anyone can browse the website gratis. Based on a member’s style profile and results from a style quiz, the shopping experience is custom-made to fit personal flare.

The online Facebook shopping experience will extend to the brick-and-mortar New York retailer Style, where shoppers can find StyleMint products through May 22.
