Obama VS Romney - The Social Media Showdown For Your Vote For President Of The USA [INFOGRAPHIC]

The 2012 United States Presidential Election is now just a little over 10 weeks away and, looking at the latest polls, President Barack Obama is still locked in a very tight race with Republican Mitt Romney, with 47 percent of registered users saying they’ll back Obama, and 46 percent saying Romney.

It’s really too close to call. Still, one area where the President has consistently trounced his rival is social media. Whether it’s Twitter, Facebook, Google+ or even Instagram, Obama is number one.

But how are the two candidates using social media? This infographic from AdAge takes a closer look at Obama and Romney’s relative standings on Twitter et al, and provides insights into how they’re using these channels.

The big question: will any of this make any difference at all to November’s outcome? We’ll have to wait and see.
