NYPL Releases iPad App

The New York Public Library has released documentary-like iPad app, with stories from their collection. The first edition of the  NYPL Biblion: World’s Fair app, is all about when New York held the World’s Fair from 1939-1940. It includes essays, videos, audio files and archival photos from the library’s collection.

The app coincides with an exhibit at the library. Venture Beat.com has more: “The Library is aiming to open up the wealth of its research collections to the public, so we can expect updates to the app with more collections in the future.
