Interesing Beet.TV interview of NY Times’s Director of Mobile Product Development who says that the New York Times gets 60 million mobile views per month and that their free iPhone app has had 2 million downloads so far.
The iTunes App Store news category shows that the NYTimes app is currently #2 behind the Yahoo! iPhone app at #1 and head of the USA Today app at #3. I was surprised to find the AP app way down (relatively speaking) at #10.
