Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve With Ryan Seacrest on ABC topped the Nielsen Social Content Ratings for TV series and specials for the week of Dec. 26.

Meanwhile, the National Football League was forced to share the spotlight in the sports category with college football bowl games and a mixed-martial-arts pay-per-view event.

The New Year’s Eve special dominated the series and specials list, with its 3.802 million total interactions across Facebook and Twitter more than 10 times the total of the second-place finisher, WWE Monday Night Raw on USA Network, at 353,000.

Meanwhile, the NFL still accounted for six of the top 10 sports events on Nielsen’s list, led by the Dallas Cowboys’ blowout of the visiting Detroit Lions on ESPN’s Monday Night Football.

UFC 207, featuring Amanda Nunes’ upset of Ronda Rousey, placed second for the week, while three NCAA bowl games also appeared on the list, including the two national semifinal match-ups in the College Football Playoff.
