Facebook quietly added news and video modules to pages June 15, under the “posts by others” view of timeline, which display brand-related content users have been reading or watching in open graph applications.

Alejandro Marcu, a Facebook engineer who works on pages, confirmed the rollout to sister blog Inside Facebook, but it only applies to pages that allow users to post on their walls.

Users can see videos and stories that are the most popular among their friends, and overall on Facebook, while page administrators can get information on which apps users are accessing their content through.
