New York: More than Half Full of E-Mail Addicts

In AOL’s recent fourth annual e-mail addiction survey, New Yorkers showed up as more addicted to their e-mail than residents of any other city. Although only 55% admitted an addiction, 62% said they check their work e-mail on the weekends. That spells addiction to us.
Eighteen percent of them are so addicted that they check someone else’s e-mail as well. Hmmm. Maybe that’s just nosiness.

Anyway, according to an InformationWeek report on the study, e-mail productivity expert Marsha Egan has apparently offered up her services to help folks in the Big Apple overcome their addiction.
