New iPhones Are Selling Better Than Last Year's New iPhones: CIRP

iPhone 5 Cs and the iPhone 5S are already seeing better sales than the iPhone 5 did last year when it was introduced, according to new data from Consumer Intelligence Research Partners (CIRP).

According to the report, the iPhone 5C represented 27 percent of all iPhone sales during the calendar quarter that ended September 30, 2013, and the iPhone 5S represented 64 percent of sales. Only 9 percent of iPhones purchased during this timeframe were legacy models.
