When SonicLiving sees that one of the bands you like has made an announcement that they're playing a local venue, you'll be notified. SonicLiving includes a sharable calendar. When you find a show you like you add it to the calendar and your friends, who hopefully have the same musical preferences, know what you're up to and can choose to rock out too. The "People" section on SonciLiving will help you meet members who are on the prowl in the same music scene as you. This is a great way to meet people who you will have a common interest with. People can be found by searching by name or e-mail address. If they're not already in the system, you can invite them to join. Most major U.S. cities are represented. For example, Explosions in the Sky, one of my personal faves, are rolling into San Fran in the near future.
