Myspace Employees Facing Ax This Week?
The ax will swing again at Myspace this week if there is any truth to rumors reported by Gawker.
The struggling social network — which cut about 500 employees in January, or roughly one-half of its staff — was put on the block by parent company News Corp. shortly after its last round of layoffs.
A Myspace veteran told Gawker:
Apparently, everyone is expecting it and actually hoping for it. I think the management owes the employees severance because of the terrible management mistakes they presided over.
