My Morning at the Apple Store to Buy an iPhone 4

So, how was your Thursday (June 24)? Here’s how I spent part of my morning. I woke up about 4am, checked email, ate breakfast, read tech news blogs, and then headed out to the nearest Apple Store where I had a reserved iPhone 4 waiting for me. I arrived at the Apple Store about 6:15am and found what looked to be about 100 people already in the reserved line. A friend had tweeted that about 200 people were in the reserved line at 5am at the larger Apple Store about 5 miles from the one I was at.

Two Apple Store employees walked down the reserved line checking names against their list and handed out cards verifying a reserved pre-order status.

Other Apple Store employees pushed a cart with bottled water, small cups of chocolate Jamba Juice, and Cinnabons.
