My Damn Channel Takes On Social Media With ‘Linked Out’ & ‘Status Kill’ Series

By Megan O'Neill

Online video site My Damn Channel is in the midst of rolling out a whole slew of new original comedy series.  Among them are two series that take on social media and, of course, we couldn’t resist sharing them with you.

The first series, Linked Out, takes on the idiosyncrasies of the social web, from speaking in 140-character Tweet talk to Facebook addiction, Siri, Skype and more.  Check out a couple of our favorites below or find them all on the My Damn Channel Linked Out page.

Status Kill is a satirical series that tells the story of Denton Sparks, “the world’s first social network action hero.”  Like Linked Out, Status Kill tackles everything we love (and love to hate) about social media, from invites to tagging and more.

Status Kill has been around since 2010, but Season 2 just launched on My Damn Channel last month.  Check out the first episode of the new season, which sort of serves as a promo, below and find more on My Damn Channel.

What do you think of these new shows?  We’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments below.
