msnbc Digital Network Buys BreakingNews.com URL
MSNBC furthered its claim to the term “breaking news” on the Web with msnbc Digital Network’s acquisition of URL www.breakingnews.com joining MSNBC-owned Twitter account @breakingnews.
While the deal was officially announced Tuesday, it was likely completed much earlier, as the Twitter biography of one of the site’s co-founders contained this last month: “Journalist. VP and co-founder of BNO News. Also co-founder of @BreakingNews, now owned by MSNBC. Sometimes ‘se habla español.'”
MSNBC also has its own Twitter feed.
