msnbc.com: Coverage of Chilean Miners No. 2 in Video Streams Behind Obama Inauguration
msnbc.com unearthed its results from the rescue of the formerly trapped miners from the northern Atacama desert in Chile, saying that it served more than 10 million related video streams Tuesday and Wednesday.
The MSNBC Digital Network site added that it served more than 6 million live video streams during the actual rescue effort, from 3 p.m. Tuesday-midnight Wednesday, topping the 5.5 million reported by CNN.com.
msnbc.com said the Chilean miner story marked its second-most live video streams of all-time, behind only the inauguration of President Barack Obama.
