Mount Everest 3D App Gives Free, Virtual Tours of The World's Highest Peak

German mapping company 3D Reality Maps has created a virtual app for those who are unable to trek up the world’s highest peak – the free app gives virtual tours of Mount Everest. Users can take the full trip from Lukla, Nepal to Base Camp (17,500ft) up to the summit (29,035ft) without experiencing hurricane winds, thin oxygen levels, or freezing temperatures.

Pro versions of the virtual tours are intended for Everest climbers who do not have access to internet connections during the strenuous trip.
