Facebook Testing More Call To Action Buttons?

The five call to action buttons for page post ads, introduced by Facebook in January, may be getting some company, as PerfectPost CEO Rob Kischuk discovered five more call to action buttons that the social network appears to be testing that are currently live, and another four that are included in its ads application-programming interface but have not yet been implemented.

Kischuk shared the screenshot above with AllFacebook and said the following call to action buttons are currently operational:

  • Install now
  • Use app
  • Play game
  • Watch more
  • Open link

He added that these buttons are currently accepted in the ads API but have not yet been implemented:

  • Watch video
  • Install mobile app
  • Use mobile app
  • Call

The existing call to action buttons that have been available since the social network’s January announcement are:

  • Shop now
  • Learn more
  • Sign up
  • Book now
  • Download
