Mom Cheers On Child During YouTube Fight, Lands In Parenting Class

You may remember last September when a video went viral of a mom, April Newcomb, egging her 16-year old daughter on in a fight. Eight months later, Newcomb’s sentence has finally been announced. The punishment? 75 hours of community service and a one-day parenting class.

You may remember last September when a video went viral of a mom, April Newcomb, egging her 16-year old daughter on in a fight.  Newcomb was arrested and charged with child abuse for cheering on her daughter in the fight, yelling things like “Punch her in the f***ing body!” and “Kick her ass!”  Eight months later, Newcomb’s sentence has finally been announced.  The punishment?  75 hours of community service and a one-day parenting class.
