Mobile Marketer Mozes Buys Hurricane Interactive

On-demand mobile marketing platform Mozes has purchased Hurricane Interactive Promotions, which uses mobile phones to promote live concerts. The acquisition of Nashville-based Hurricane helps Mozes expand its presence in the Nashville music scene and broaden its live concert promotion offerings.

Touring artists use Hurricane’s service to power in-venue text-to-screen capabilities, live contents and music content sales. Mozes lets bands, brands and fans create and manage interactive mobile campaigns that are permission-based and spam-free.

“Hurricane brings Mozes incredible expertise with live concert mobile experiences for some of the biggest names in music,” Mozes CEO Dorrian Porter said of the deal.
