Mobile Browser Week: Firefox for Android Tablet UI Previewed. Dolphin Browser for iPhone Released

There’s a pair of mobile browser related news items this week. First up is a preview of Firefox for Android tablets. Then, we learn a bit about the Dolphin browser migrated over from Android to the iPhone.

Ian Barlow provided a preview of Firefox for Tablets. The platform targetted is Android 3.0 Honeycomb and takes advantage of the tablets larger display (compared to Android phones). Firefox for Tablet will support Themes, the Awesomebar (that gives easy access to bookmarks, history, and your synced desktop activity) and Tabs (visible as thumbnails in the left sidebar in landscape viewing mode).
