Double Fine launches Middle Manager of Justice — Game developer Double Fine Productions launched its first iOS game this week, Middle Manager of Justice. Players assume the role of a Justice Corp bureaucrat who's been tasked with managing a superhero facility. As a result, it's up to the users to build new training grounds, upgrading equipment and managing a team of superheroes to better protect the city. SponserPay releases AppTrailer -- Value-exchange advertising platform SponserPay released AppTrailer, a new user acquisition product for iOS, Android and Facebook which enables developers to engage with users through short videos showcasing an app's unique features and content. Corona Labs acquires Game Minion -- Cross-platform mobile developer Corona Labs acquired the mobile cloud services stratup Game Minion, funded by Draper Investment Co. Now rebranded as Corona Cloud, the service dramatically accelerated the app creation process, especially for Corona SDK users. Gameloft launches Playmobil Pirates on iOS -- French game developer and publisher Gameloft announced the launch of Playmobil Pirates, and iOS game based on the figures made by Germany’s largest toy manufacturer. The game is set on an island where players engage with mini-games, quests, figures and ships, all from Playmobil newest Pirates line. The game is free to download from the iTunes App Store. Scopley gives indie developers a boost with LevelUp -- Mobile game publisher and developer Scopely launched LevelUp, a new partners program that will take advantage of Scopley’s highly targeted push notifications, engagement emails, SMS invites, IAP sales, and in-game promotions strategies. PlaySpace enters the mobile space with Parchis -- Spanish social game developer PlaySpace has entered the mobile games market with an iOS version for the popular board game Parchis. The mobile version of the game will allow the millions of PlaySpace registered users to play with friends across Facebook, iOS devices and the Tuenti social network. Rebtel launches Voice Platform for iOS, Android games -- Mobile VoIP company Rebtel announced the beta launch of its new SDK for iOS and Android which will allow developers to intgrate voice capabilties into any iOS or Android game or app in 15 minutes.
