Mobile app news roundup: iOS Trojans, Call of Duty goes mobile and Big Fish Games' cloud
Mobile security issues hit iOS and Android — Security issues loomed large on smartphones this week. Wired reported Apple had to remove the first iOS Trojan from the App Store — a Russian app called Find and Call that scraped user’s contact lists and sent unauthorized emails and messages. The app was also removed from Google Play. Meanwhile the BBC reported a Microsoft researcher had found a botnet using infected Android smartphones in Chile, Indonesia, Lebanon, Oman, Philippines, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Thailand, Ukraine and Venezuela.
