Vice president of search, profile, local and developer products Mike Vernal announced that he is leaving Facebook to join Sequoia Capital as a venture capitalist.
Vice president of search, profile, local and developer products Mike Vernal announced that he is leaving Facebook to join Sequoia Capital as a venture capitalist.
Vernal spent more than eight years at Facebook after a six-year stint at Microsoft.
He said in a Facebook post (embedded below):
It’s really tough to leave—Facebook is a rare and exceptional company filled with extraordinary people, and I couldn’t be more excited about what lies ahead. At the same time, I’m inspired and humbled to take on a new challenge.
