REPORT: Facebook Messenger to Ride with Uber?
Arranging a ride home via Facebook Messenger? It could be possible down the road, as Re/code reported that Facebook Co-Founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg and Uber CEO Travis Kalanick have engaged in preliminary discussions about adding the service, which matches available cars and riders, to the messaging application.

Re/code said neither company would comment, but a source with knowledge of the situation told it:
It’s very conceptual, and nowhere near execution, but it’s a direction that Messenger has to go in.
The potential move would fit in with Facebook’s strategy of bolstering its stand-alone apps.
