Mercer Mayer Signs With FastPencil
Digital publisher FastPencil has signed children’s book author Mercer Mayer to publish books through its FastPencil PREMIERE book publishing line.
Mayer will publish nine titles through the imprint in 2011, including a series of Little Monster books, such as Professor Wormbog in Search for the Zipperump-a-Zoo, Fun & Learn, Word Book with Mother Goose and At Home, School & Work.
Mayer will also create a new Little Critter program from his best-selling Little Critter franchise. Mayer will also be creating new character franchises exclusive to FastPencil.
Mayer had this statement: “I’ve been writing and illustrating children’s books for decades and, in that time, I have published more than 300 books.
