Recently, Bitly announced that Matt Thomson would be joining the executive team as Chief Product Officer. Thomson, who helped other SaaS companies such as Klout and Lithium develop and execute product strategy, will be setting the vision for the product team at Bitly.

He says he has watched Bitly grow to become an integral part of the internet and critical resource for marketers.
