Content Marketing, SEO, Mobile, Email And Social Media - Marketing Budgets 2014 [STUDY]

Three in five marketers plan to increase their budgets for acquisition, retention and engagement on social media platforms such as Twitter and Facebook in 2014, with 71 percent planning to boost their overall digital marketing expenditure, reveals a new study.

Econsultancy and Responsys surveyed over 600 company and agency marketers in December 2013 and January 2014 and found that more than three quarters of B2C marketers are increasing their digital marketing spend this year, with content marketing (74 percent), SEO (63 percent) and mobile marketing (63 percent) the top channels likely to receive an increase in investment, ahead of email marketing (62 percent) and social media.
