The same team that delivered Orchestra To-Do last year has launched Mailbox today, a mobile email app that seeks to reinvent email for busy smartphone users.

The app launched in a sign-up beta for users on iOS devices with Gmail accounts only, but response has been overwhelming according to the company.

The app introduces an email “snooze” feature, that lets users tell a message to go away and come back at another pre-determined time. It also delivers push notices when new messages arrive without the user having to refresh within the app.
