Macmillan to Release Entire Backlist as eBook Catalog
Big five publisher Macmillan has plans to make its entire backlist catalog available as eBooks. This includes more than 11,000 titles, many of which will be available as library books through partnerships with various eBook distribution companies.
Publisher’s Weekly has the scoop:
Frontlist titles will not be included in the program at this time. Titles will be available to libraries through OverDrive, 3M and Baker & Taylor, and also Recorded Books. There were no reported changes in the model Macmillan uses or pricing at this time.
