Facebook Page-Creation Vendor Lujure Debuts New Offering, Announces Investment

By David Cohen

Facebook page-creation vendor Lujure announced the launch of its new system to create and customize Facebook pages and tabs, adding that it has received $500,000 in funding from angel investors including Rackspace and TechStars.

More than 65,000 clients have used Lujure’s coding-free, drag-and-drop tools to create more than 100,000 Facebook tabs over the past year alone, and the vendor offers a basic free service, as well as a $30-per-month option for small and midsized businesses, and a $300-per-month, white-label offering for social media agencies.

Lujure’s paid packages include access to its client manager, custom icons, access to all templates, and support for unlimited tabs and pages.

The company said it will use the funding to focus on more aspects of social marketing. Founder Nathan Latka added:

I knew when we started Lujure that there was a need for tools to help businesses take full advantage of Facebook, and the data indicated a big market opportunity, but I never imagined just how quickly Lujure would take off, to help so many businesses, all just from word-of-mouth. In just 15 months, to amass 65,000 customers — it’s immensely gratifying to have delivered a solution so much in demand, and I’m thrilled to launch it officially today.
