Facebook Director Of Public Policy Louisa Terrell Named Chief Of Staff For Sen.-Elect Cory Booker

Newark Mayor and New Jersey Sen.-Elect Cory Booker (D) announced the hire of Facebook Director of Public Policy Louisa Terrell as his chief of staff, eFinance Hub reported.

Newark Mayor and New Jersey Sen.-Elect Cory Booker (D) announced the hire of Facebook Director of Public Policy Louisa Terrell as his chief of staff, eFinance Hub reported.

Terrell had been with Facebook since October 2011. Prior to the social network, she served as a special assistant for legislative affairs to President Barack Obama, and she also worked with Yahoo and then-Sen. and current Vice President Joe Biden (D-Del.), according to eFinance Hub.

Booker said in a statement about the hire:

Louisa has experience in the White House, the halls of Congress, and in the private sector, and I’m thrilled that she will be building and leading a Senate team that will work every day to get things done for the people of New Jersey.
