LinkedIn has added more substantive search functions to its Web interface, the company said today.
“Search on LinkedIn is getting even smarter and more streamlined,” the company said in a blog post.
Users no longer have to indicate, using a menu, whether they are searching for a company, person or job. The search function also includes auto-complete and suggested related searches. Users can save their search queries and receive automatic notifications when results for that search change.
Advanced search has also been improved with additional filters, the company said.
LinkedIn sees an average of 475 million searches a month, according to the company. The network has 200 million members.
