LinkedIn has updated its iPad app for iOS 7 with a complete redesign. Overall the app has been redesigned with a new stream and a new look. The app is designed to be more dynamic and support more rich media.
The updated version of the app has a new feature called Intro that makes it easier to send emails to other users on the site. The feature takes advantage of technology that LinkedIn picked up when it acquired Rapportive last year. The way that it works is that when a user tries to write an email to a contact or a potential contact, they get a drop down with data about the person they are emailing. So for example, LinkedIn will tell you where that person works, where they went to school and what city they live in, among other things.
The app also has a a new enhanced search feature so that you can now search by company, job title and group.
